A Mother's Love

God has made them special;
earth angels known as "Mothers";
the finale of His Creation;
Man's treasure above all others.
God placed within her heart,
the burning flame of Love,
surpassed by none other,
but our precious Lord above.
Its limits have no measure.
It's pure to the nth degree.
Its effects can't be hidden.
It's there for the world to see.
In pain she bears her children,
and suckles them on her breast.
Her life is a living sacrifice,
and she would never offer less.
She's the Bedrock of the family;
the centerpiece of the home.
In Spirit, she travels with them,
wherever in the world, they roam.
In time they have a longing;
a gnawing never felt before,
that draws them home again,
to a Mother's Love once more.
