I'm A Country Hick!

Some folks think it's smart,
to laugh at what others do.
They categorize other folks,
saying things that are not true.
They tell their jokes about them,
and call them funny names.
The way they act toward others,
should make them feel ashamed.
If tipping your hat to a lady,
or greeting folks when you meet,
or speaking kindly to a stranger,
or helping old ladies across the street,
or opening doors as others,
or giving a lady your chair,
make me a "Country Hick",
it's a name I'll gladly wear.
My clothes may be out of style.
My speech may be unrefined.
My hair may be uncombed.
That's okay. I don't mind.
Clothes don't make the man.
It's not speech, it's what you say.
May hair is not a problem.
It's the way they wear it today.
Now while we're on the subject,
there's something I need to say.
Your pants are way too low.
Why do you wear them that way?
Do you think it's appealing?
It sure isn't from the back.
Nobody thinks it's pleasing,
to look at that unsightly crack.
