The leaves of red and gold,
have now fallen to the ground.
The wind is blowing from the North,
making a mornful sound.
The frost has bitten the folage,
and all is a snowy white.
Winter's just around the corner,
so button up real tight.
Stock up on those groceries,
in case there is a storm.
Keep plenty of wood handy.
The fireplace will keep you warm.
No more walks in the park,
nor picnics upon the grass.
You'll gain a few more pounds,
before this spell will pass.
Put away the Bar-BQ Grille.
You won't need it for a while.
Rake up all of those fallen leaves,
and burn them in a pile.
Bring in all of those potted plants,
hang them in every room.
Let the pets come in the house,
or they will meet their doom.
Put the car in the garage,
the lawn mowers in the shed.
Cover up all your pipes
like the weather man said.
Check it all out now,
to see what you didn't do.
Now! Go check in a motel,
for theres no room for you!!!
